    Problem with these stack mechanics of "buffs" for BLM is that is helps ZERO for PvP also.

    BLM are easily the worst DPS by a long shot in pvp because we instant die and when we cast its usually Sleep and running away casting Scathe and we all know Scathe dps is terrible since its a instant cast and intended to be.

    While I agree, since SE is trying to do PvP it means PvE can't be the ONLY focus which is why I said most of the recommendations were ONLY for pve and would have ZERO effect for the terrible dps that is blm pvp.

    You must be at the bottom of DPS if you think that way. Puro Strider spreadsheets put SpellSpeed almost on par with Crit. Determination is the least favorable stat you want.

    I'm actually top dps on every class that I play. I've played with that BLM and wasn't impressed thus I place no value on his analysis or data. I rely on my own experience to make decisions more than information forum posts.

    treat it as a seperate topic. PVP balancing should never effect PVE stuff. Especially with just a handful of ppl playing it. Lowering Scathe dmg in 2.1 cause of PVP was already borderline and I doubt that +20 potency it had before 2.1 would have made BLMs OP...

    I have (after food) 546 SS, 482 Crit and 253 Det
    I sit in T8 challenging the Monk DPS with my stats, I don't have to move at all so it helps. Then I go in T9 sitting with other DPS doing really great. Many group asked their BLMs to change job because of mobility issues, it's a gift and require a lot of practice to counter the BLM mobility issue. BLMs really need to master Aetherial Manipulation and there's a perfect macro for it.

    So good in T9 you'll never want to take it away from your bars.

    The number one BLM issue right now is mobility and even saying that... I don't have that problem.

    Ok I have a few ideas (prepares to be flamed)


    1. Allow firestarter to stack and increase duration a touch(I.e 15 seconds)
    2.make thundercloud only (not thunder 3 normal cast) a aoe and increase to 10% chance(maybe a bit O.P)
    3. Put scathe back to damage pre 2.1

    Not suggesting all get implemented but 1/2 would be nice
