Redeeming PS4 pre-order minion / cap code for PC player?

I am a 1.0 CE Legacy player (PC version) and I was gifted a PS4 pre-order code for a Cait Sith Doll Minion and Moogle Cap.

The 12-digit code is not accepted in Mog Station. I have a PSN account (I used to own a PS3) but do not own a PS3 or PS4. I am able to log into my PSN account and I see a field to enter a bonus code, but I don't know how to link my PSN and PC accounts. (I'm assuming this is how it's done?)

How do I redeem this code and receive these items on my PC account?

Wehn you purchased the PS4 version , did you have to make a SE account to play the game. Actually, whatever account your using right now, is that the account you log in to on the PS4? Are you using the same character on the PS4 as you are when your on PC. If so, it's already 1 account, you can look at the mogstation from there and see your option.

Don't own a PS4, someone just gave me the pre-order minion / cap code. Do I need to log into a PS4 to redeem this? Obviously not going to buy a PS4 and another copy of the game just for the minion. ;-)
