Thats not even including getting paralyzed. Melee have instant attacks thus they are slightly affected, as where a caster can be stunlocked for the entire duration. how many times before the turn 2 nerf when high voltage would hit the group and im almost 20 seconds unable to deal dps with my rotation because every time im close to casting a spell bam, paralyzed , cast again, paralyzed and again and again causing me to lose astral fire, or not doing crap at all. If anything i do love how the healers in my group give me priority on taking off any paralysis effects on me as they know how much it can potentially cripple a blm.

You may have issues with monk but the people who i play with decimate the dps as monk or dragoon, especially on these new turns. there is no comparing the dps both melee are very solid and in the hands of capable players they do much more than you think they can.
