Thread: 2.3 Info! New Classes Confirmed, New Summoner Pets!

i dont get it. yoshi said that he thought it would be unfair that summoners would be the only class to get new pets and thus skills. so this is either fake, or all classes are getting new skills somehow.

I was hoping for a rick-roll link.

More likely than not, the base class will be Musketeer. As for the jobs, they can easily have something akin to Scholar, ie the main stat changes for one of the jobs.

-Higher level cap before 3.0.
-New classes before 3.0
-Gun and dagger classes that Yoshi has talked about a few times.

But my speculation is if there is a Gun class it will be Red Mage. Yoshi basically said one of the first jobs to be added would be Red Mage.

From what i remember from translation he just said Red mage is one of the classess he would love to see added in the game cause he is a big Red Mage fan. Didnt say it was one of the first jobs to be added.

If he adds beastmaster; I will re-sub just for that, lol. If not, guess i will stick to XI (And their horrible bst; which they are still trying to figure out, smdh)

What Yoshi said was Red Mage is the job he wants to add, but he they still hadn't figured out how to implement it, and they couldn't until they'd added Musketeer since that was a class advertised in 1.0.

And there will be riots if Red Mages use a gun instead of a sword.
