I have to pretend I know what I'm doing lol
as a newb DPS it's imperative to follow the tank. because it's foolhardy to pull a mob on our own or run ahead of the other party members even if we've done the instance before. moreover, it's easier to run away like that lol just kidding, but I think it's a safe group dynamic to follow the tank regardless as this game follows a trinity set-up since you guys are supposedly the first to face the mobs anyway

I think they should really limit single player content
Story is already a single road and the new animus quests is not very group friendly either...

And would be hard to adjust the dungeon so that every job can clear it

You often see tanks struggling to get aggro of multiple mobs on the lower levels.

The reason however is mostly that they do not use Flash/Overpower at all or so sparely that it just won't keep other from getting aggro.

When healing low lvl roulette, i see this more often on GLD.
They seem to think the skill (Flash) is crap because it does no damage.

I wouldn't mind solo dungeons if they were purposed not to give you exp but your companion. =)

Just to reiterate a point already made, this is wildly untrue. Overpower generates far more hate than flash. You can check out the tank threads if you want to see the actual formulas but it's not even close. Warriors have an easier time grabbing and holding multiple mobs, especially in early levels. And the use of Overpower and Steel Cyclone really makes Flash pretty unnecessary in most cases though I would definitely recommend using it in a pinch. You'll only be able to use it 2-3 times at the most though given a warriors limited MP pool and, depending on the fight, and if your MT or OT, that MP is more helpfully reserved for Provoke.

Lol. Quite true. I always think it uses MP for some reason as a GLD cross skill.

I personally use 2 hotbars that I switch between constantly. One has my BB rotation and the other my SE rotation. The first has my aggro abilities and damage mitigation, the other has damage dealing abilities and a bit of everything else. I find it works well for me.

You also shouldn't need to spam overpower. Pull with tomahawk, group them up, one overpower and then start rotating through them. You can also toss an op in there between rotations and still be fine on TP.

Lastly, cure really won't do much for you as you don't have attributes to utilize it.

I also skipped over the most important if your questions: aggro bars. In the party list, under the icon that denotes the members class, is the emnity bar. This shows whose pulling aggro on the mob you currently have targeted. Obviously yours should always be full. Just note it only shows the aggro on what you have targeted. You need to scroll through the mobs to see if a particular enemy needs attention before he gets pulled by someone else.

I was doing the ward up guildhest, the one where you have to put them down all together. I clearly stated it was my first time, as did others. It was explained what to do so off we go. The whole fight I'm getting yelled at to not use overpower, use it from different people at the same time. Then I'm told to use flash, good job I have it as a cross skill. I'm trying to bring them down to low HP, not really being healed much so dying a lot and using flash when I can, which is only a few times as I have low MP, even lower when I keep dying. I keep getting comments like do this, do that, are you listening, is it so hard, the answer being yes, it is kinda hard when you have no mp, tp or your dead. We managed it with a few minutes to go but it just annoyed me, I couldnt comment as everyone left, I'm on ps4, it wouldn't let me use tell either.
So, wondering if I'm a bad tank or he was just being a dick. I mean, would you use duty finder if you didn't have the patience for new players
