Of course they will. They could implement X-Ray Goggles that render all miqo'te within view completely nude and people would complain about the fact that they don't shave. 10g says when they implement airships, there'll be people bitching that there's no quest to make your money back like in FFXI.

I'm convinced that there are people who, on some level, don't actually want FFXIV to succeed because it'll take away their excuse to show up here, bash other peoples hard work, and vent their frustrations on anyone who doesn't agree with their shortsighted vision of a perfectly balanced MMORPG experience.

I consider the Fan-to-Dev-Team interaction, when it comes to game mechanics, to be a lot like this: XKCD (Long Light)

I agree wholeheartedly with your post. I absolutely love the game in it's current state (there are a few things I could pick at and those are all being fixed soon ) but I see so many people who just come on the forums with like 300-800 posts and all they do is bash the game and the devs, I really don't understand it. Maybe it's because I am old lol
