Heya.
I'm still relatively new to the game, and was wondering if there was any hope for a small, casual free company to gain enough seals to maintain bonuses. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

My FC has about 6 people its very casual and atm rnk 5, when we reached rnk 5 we had about 50k+ seals(stars)whatever they are called. From what i read the points are from gathering, crafting or fate grinding. (my fiance and i have been crafting/gathering/and fate grinding as well as our FC friends) you spend 3kish a day for 1 skill and its rather easy to stay above 50k. So as long as you have people planning on doing at least 1 of those 3 it shouldnt be an issues for a small FC.
http://xivwiki.com/Free_Companies webpage that may be of interest! Good Luck! ^^/
You shouldn't have any issue as long as you don't have anybody that stays logged on all day AFK. Point gains are altered based on how many people are online in the FC. You still gain more points overall by having more people on but they have to be doing stuff, otherwise they are just lowering everyone else's point contributions.
Thanks for re reassurance. =)
I think about 5 to 6 members actively doing anything is enough to gain credits for a rank 1 company action. you can gain even more if your FC member decided to take on crafting, they take lesser time and you'll gain a few points for each item crafted. If you choose to use sparingly and activate then whenever really necessary (ie only use 5% exp when everyone decided to level the whole day), you will see that your FC credit won't drop below a certain level.
good luck with your FC by the way. =)
