Hello folks!

Who We Are
The first thing you should know about our FC is that the founders hail from an "old school gamer" generation, a time when gaming communities were vastly different. A time when progression was made in an environment where people were truly "friends" first. We met IRL for yearly "guild conventions", members were friends and not just another number, grinding content was a way of life, and when you didn't log on for a while- you WERE missed. While we do realize that as time passes, generations enter the community, society in general changes, and this type of gaming community has all but vanished; we DO strive to keep the ideal of it present in our FC.

While we are an FC primarily focused on serious, progressive raiding, we do love us some social/casual/leveling people to hang with as well. So whether you're a raider or a casual, you are welcome here!

The FC's founders are long time mmo junkies, having done their time as "hardcore" raiders in various mainstream mmos and who are now seeking to cultivate the same type of results as "hardcore" raiding, but on a more forgiving/casual schedule and atmosphere.

Our raid schedule is more "casual" in nature, amounting to only 2x days a weekend/4 hours each day. We do this because our raiding base is comprised of adults who don't have tons of free time on weekday nights to devote to raiding (for a variety of reasons), but still want to be competitive and progressive.

Our membership is smaller in numbers, but that is largely by choice. We do NOT have any desire to evolve into one of those massively numbered FC's, but wish to remain relatively smaller with only 2-3x 8 man raid groups.

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking people that are serious about raiding and spend a majority of their in game time working to improve their main raiding job(s) whether that's gear upgrades, pf/df/fc groups outside of raid time to practice content we're currently working on, watching strat vids/reading up on strats for current content, etc.

While we DO want people who are "serious" about raiding, we also like to have a lot of fun. It IS a game, after all! So applicants would need to be of a "laidback" attitude but "serious" about raiding with a sense of humor and a desire to learn/experience the content at whatever pace the raid group is getting through it, be it fast or slow.

What We Expect From You

If you are applying as a raider:

• Be skillful and knowledgeable about your class(es)
• Choose a "primary" raid class (for ease of group composition/slotting)
• Be able and willing to use RAIDCALL for voice comms during raids (or socially as well if you'd like)
• Be available for BOTH raid days: Sat & Sun 2p-6p est OR Tues & Wed 1230a-330a est
• Be able to attend a MAJORITY of the raid days (we've all got family, work, life etc. Time off is absolutely fine as long as you are considerate enough to let us know in advance and it's not excessive!)
• Be personable
• Be a team player << super important
• Be an adult

Finally! A weekend group! Now i just need to know how well you guys do in t6 and up and i might transfer(brd main btw)
Im just sick and tired of joining temporary grps that will lock me into coil while not downing anything....i know fights 6-8 and have participated in many server firsts in first coil /primals. I work nightshifts during the week so that was my main problem with raiding but im free all weekend!

Thanks for your interest, but I fear the position we have for you would not be what you're looking for. The open BRD slot is for our second team which is still trying to fill open positions and would be starting out fresh. It's been surprisingly difficult to find weekend, daytime raiders (probably about as difficult as it is to find a weekend, daytime raiding group!). Additionally, because we only raid 2/7 days a week, progress is a bit slower than those groups that are able to raid 3+/7 days a week. So if a T6+ group is what you're looking for, our second group wouldn't be it (yet!). Thanks for your interest though, I just don't want to see you waste time/money to come to a group that is just starting out. If we had an open BRD spot on our main group for you, that might have been more to your liking, but unfortunately that's not the case at present. Thanks again and best of luck to you in your search!
