(2002) Lobby Server has encountered and error. Got a new modem recently... (PC)

I see a lot of these 2002 threads, but I'm on PC, and recently got a new modem. I've been starting to see 2002s more and more frequently, and right now it seems impossible to play.

Could be something going on in your area or along your specific route to the servers in Canada. May want to look at your modem's logs and signal pages to see if there is anything that looks out of sorts. The New york area has been having all kinds of issues with various services off and on for a while (netflix, PSN, XBL, to name a few). Looks like Verizon has been getting complaints in NY specifically the last 24 hours:

Chicago and Ohio are also having issues across the board as well (can affect the NSA scans, which has potential to knacker up a LOT of routing for everyone from Mountain to Eastrern time zones).

Yeah it's been happening to me all day. I thought it was my internet, but I am streaming at the same time, and nothing seems wrong there, just FF14.

Having same issue. I recently got a new modem yesterday so this thread caught my eye. However my ISP is Xfinity/Comcast down here in Jax, FL so this should not be related to the issues with Verizon in NY. I had no problems yesterday for a good 6 hours after setting up new modem (same timeframe of day as today). Internet otherwise as fast as ever on everything else I can try, I would wager to guess this is an issue on Squares end again. /crosses fingers for quick fix

Now I am getting error 9000 d/c right after logging in over n over. I am seeing other 9000 error threads on forum, there must be a bigger issue causing these related errors.

I'm in Orlando Florida but play on EU server. Are you guys in the Southern states playing on NA or EU servers? I'm having the same issues all day.

NA/EU is same location of servers. There are no servers located in EU/UK

yeah they just told me on TS. It's all in Canada they said.
