My mistake, sub 50 gear doesn't matter. That's why everyone runs around naked before level 50. And you in your own OP stated: "Add a leaderboard for clear times or something and it could be cool!"
So that seems to be your goal so why the need for low level loot that doesn't matter?
I can only see you wanting this for two reasons. You want the easy way out and want to farm all the green/pink gear for the alts you want to play instead of earning them in parties. Or you want to farm those collesium pieces and get rich. If I'm wrong then why would you have a problem with them removing the loot tables?
why not just solo the dungeons WITH lvl sync on, its been done before already for almost every one.
I would love to go into somewhere like Tam Tara on my level 50 with everything at the level they are in the dungeon, round them all together and just flare a quarter of the dungeon down at a time lol
It is pretty simple. Drops bring people into the dungeon to party with others who need it for exp/clearing/drops. This create group activities and help everyone.
If you were level 50 and had all the drops, would you redo a low level dungeon? Probably not.
I'd love to farm gear myself, but I see the impact on gameplay.
I'd rather they just make the dungeons open world, but to be rewarded completely you have to do the duty finder version.
Less we have yet another scenario where people sell dungeo runs. It's bad enouigh that people sell primal runs. SE made the right choice.
I haven't really heard anyone argue against my idea of having the dungeons accessible open-world, but without the instance content. So you could enter them and run around, and there would be tough mobs to fight in there, but no scripted content like in the instances. Maybe a handful of interesting drops from some of the mobs, but nothing super special.
I still have a bunch of sasposha(or whatever) keys sitting on the calamty salvager lol wish I had used them, wasnt expecting them to do what they did to the dungeons in 2.0
Currently:
100 people (25 tanks, 25 healers, 50 DPS) queuing up for 4 man content = 25 instances for the server to manage.
Proposed by the OP:
100 people (100 random mixture of jobs) solo queuing up for 4 man content = 100 instances for the server to manage.
So...who's ready for dungeon queues to skyrocket?
Even the folks who are trying to queue 4 man content would be affected because now their pool of people is smaller.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOOOOGIC!!!
Yeah, I don't support the idea. Several players already stated several reasons.
