Turning a MMO into a single player game.
Turning a MMO into a single player game.
Better that than older dungeons becoming a zero-player game. Does the content still exist if no one does it?
As I understand, they have (roughly) separate server hardware for different instances and those servers are allocated based on usage patterns, hence why they had to increase the number of servers dedicated to AK way back in the speedrunning days. For older dungeons, fewer people are going to run it at the same time so it shouldn't be a large burden on those servers to run a few extra solo instances.I may be wrong. But didn't they have ques for instances at one point. Is that not why it says reserving when you form. If that is correct how would they handle the load if we could all just pick one and go. How many people would skip queing for Brayflox if they could solo it and get the vanity drops.
I am fine with a leaderboard for bragging rights. But I think they would have to remove the loot table.
