Can you make macros similar to WoW on FFXIV?

I'd like to keep Holy on my main healing crossbar for some aoe.

What I want is something like this...

    /spell Cleric Stance
    /wait 5
    /spell Holy

Now I know this wouldn't work because the 2nd time i use it... bye-bye cleric stance.
In WoW you can have an arg. that if it sees a skill active it will skip casting it and continue.

If possible.. what would this macro be in XIV?

And using that macro over and over will over enable CS and not remove it over and over?

Short answer: No, as far as I know - there is no way to do conditions in macros, including checking for active skills/buffs.

That macro would toggle CS on and off every time you clicked it making only active every other Holy

For me I just keep it in a handy slot for easy toggling when needed

Well it's just an example... i know its useless .
You shouldn't macro Cleric Stance since its not possible to add a "if" option.

    Best option:
    /ac "Cleric Stance" <wait.1>
    /ac Holy <me> <wait.4>
    /ac "Cleric Stance"

Can't remember cast time on holy, so wait time can differ. This will turn on CS, use holy, use CS again, turning it off. So long as the macro is not interrupted

There is a trick that I talk about on my youtube channel (www.youtube.com/pharazonsvidstream) (shameless plug but heh lol) where you set up two hotbars to look exactly the same. Use bar one (as this is the bar that can be switched) and then use like #8 or some higher one that you are likely not to need. Then since bar one can be swapped you create two macros and put them on two different key binds. So you use:

    /ac "cleric stance"
    /hotbar 8
    /ac holy

which would be on keybind slot 8 for example with slot 9 empty

but then on hotbar 8 everything is the same except that slot 8 is empty and slot 9 has the opposite macro for turning cleric stance off

    /ac "cleric stance"
    /hotbar 1

this helps lessen the chance that you will turn cleric stance back on by changing the hotbar so that after you push the keybind there is nothing there for further presses. It still has some limitations because you can still very quickly spam the button and have it happen but it does help. There is a better explanation with video on my channel under white mage guides and macros but this should give you the gist of it.
