Thinking of transferring

Hi.

I am currently on Balmung and I am struggling to get any raid time because of the US timezone. I want to do T6 to T9 but it is almost impossible to get a group. I have already beaten T6 but it was hard to even do that with many sleepless nights trying to play in the PST timezone.

Anyway before I consider transferring, I wanted to know what life on Odin is like and how progressive people are on there? Also I wanted to know what the community is like as friendly folks go a long way.

not been on any other server but been on plenty of other mmo's and this is the best community I have been in since farstar on swg! Everyone seems friendly and helpfull. Got a huge friends list just from bumping into people and chatting.

There is no hardcore on this server. Kinnison is just not used to what hardcore actually is. Odin is a very softcore server with some semi-hardcore. It's a fun server though, and party finder will make you want to gouge your eyes out, but it's fun

As someone who is going to transfer to Odin most likely too, what to do you define as "hardcore" :P?

Hardcore would in my opinion be someone like Blue Garter and Collision. Anyone competing for world firsts. Even though we have some good players on Odin, we're mostly semi-hardcore.

Other than that, like Angel said it's a fun server, and definitely the place to be when it comes to EU!

It depends on which field of hardcore you're saying I'm not used to, I'm very hardcore in gil making.

Thanks for all your responses. I would consider myself towards the hardcore front, as I would like to get to the point where I can down each turn within 1 or 2 weeks of learning (6-9) with a solid group. But it does seem like a fun server to be on by the sounds of it. My friend transferred to Ragnarok and he regretted it and is heading back to Balmung, I just didn't want to have the same trouble with Odin. He said Rag was just stagnant and boring lol
