    "Apologise for any inconvenience"???

I spend 30 days resolutely logging in to do my Beastman Tribe quests and on the final day before Rank 4, I'm prepared to power through them, do so in superfast time as soon as the timer ticks over (holding a quest item in my inventory and luckily getting that as one of my three), hopefully getting a WORLD FIRST on "Licensed to Gill" over at xivpads for my troubles to finally cement my reputation as the most HARDCORE of CASUALS, for what???

The Lodestone broke and didn't correctly reflect the time I (and other hardcore casual competitors!) received the achievement, by about 18 hours and in order of character update, no less.

I'm a laughing stock. How am I going to convince anyone to carry me through T1-4 of Bahamut's Coil now? I would seriously consider unsubscribing had I not just bought another six months at a ridiculously low Legacy subscription level.

I would have lost with good grace had another player legitimately beaten me in this race of champions, but now I'm going to have to wait, what; another three months? for the next Beastman Tribe to be added.

Square-Enix, please stop worrying about these sad Atma complainers and sort out the things that really matter in this game.

    Its...Beautiful.

If I print out a copy of this will you sign it for me? (Would that count for a world-first somewhere?)

I am touched by both of your vocal concerns for this issue, and also the huge number of people that have shown support for a just resolution of this issue (the five of us will have our day, of this I am sure!).

Having had some time to dwell on the issue, I have come to the conclusion that the problem is simply that Square-Enix do not consider casuals like myself important. Together, we provide the vast majority of subscription income, yet new content is geared toward those few who want an iLv90+ gearset.

I, and perhaps others (though I would not dare speak for them), deserve a patch without all this endgame decadence. I'd suggest, for instance, being able to level *all* our mounts independently, not just the GC chocobo. In-depth gardening, perhaps resulting in the growing of different foods that can buff these mounts. Even barding for each mount with stats of their own (hey, if our retainers can have it, why not?!) and of course, the associated barding glamours required. Dare I even suggest actual mounted combat?

Of course, with the mount taking up a party space, this type of content is exactly what I look for, as a casual player. There's no way, even fully buffed, that they could replace a Hardcore Elite party member in their Weathered Gear, deep inside a Bahamut Coil. Hardcore Elites simply wouldn't attempt it (much as they wouldn't bother with persistent Beastman Reputation gain).

I digress. You may have noticed that I am not just a Hardcore Casual, but also quite a proficient Armchair Developer!

Anyway, isn't it time for the show? http://www.twitch.tv/finalfantasyxiv
