PLD and enmity after update?

I've had monsters flat out turn away from me as if I were boring them, right after wrapping up a hate combo. I don't know what's going on, but something definately changed with the patch.

I have noticed I took more damage than normal even with Shield Oath on during a Moogle Ex session last night.
I think OP is having same problem that Shield Oath did not take effect.

I had this happen to me during a Levi run where I zoned in with ShO up. I turned it off and then back on again, and it went back to working as normal.

Disagree. I was holding hate vs. our i97 BLM in T4 farming last night just fine on PLD. Haven't noticed any increase/decrease in enmity gains. Also was T5 OT Farming with a random pug last night, and I was easily passing the Warrior if I remained in Shield Oath, and kept slightly under pace for Sword Oath. No problems to speak of on adds.

Sounds like the previous bug they 'fixed' that Faeye and Kitru are bringing up. Perhaps it's ghost is still in the system causing havoc. I haven't had any issues personally with zoning in and out, but sounds like there might be exceptions happening.

For funsies to try and solo the Gladiator enemy in Halatali Hard, I did a run as WAR before, then PLD next. The only difference between them right now is my WAR has Zenith and 90 head gear, PLD is the same otherwise plus Shield of course. I noticed I was having some hate issues with the Dragoon on the team, and I mean, I start a fight, Flash three times, with Shield Oath, start making my rotations, and something was already going after him. My PLD is item level 89, that's not awful, and a DRG with near similar gear as me was pulling off extremely easy, same with the Bard in the party. I emptied MP several times trying to hold and kept losing it anyways, RoH combos were barely affecting my enmity, only if I was wailing on something for a minute or so with no one else, like the final bosses when you tank the caster and the creature who's race I can't remember right now, was Enmity being maintained.

If something wanted to convince me to stay on WAR it certainly has now.

been tanking Levi T6-8 for the last week, never saw any different. altho, I'm Oath dance quite a lot in levi and T6 LOL
