Big mistake that SE did with new relic weapons

Now if I am not mistaken, the relic weapons are suppose to be the more powerfull in game. Yet for some reason "BOTH" tier 3 and 4 stages of relic weapons are both ilvl 100, when stage 4 should be ilvl 115 (same as highest ilvl weapons in game).

Also the fact they both say ilvl 100 when the stats/dam is higher on tier 4 then on the tier 3 does not make any sense.

they are suppose to be really strong at the end of relic's(zodiark??) quest line. prolly on par or 5 ilv less than the coil weapon at that time

They will be stronger once all the next stages are implemented but most likely will never be better than their Coil equivalent from the same patch, depends on how they do the stat customization thing, unless they probably just meant you could choose which books to do first. The real mistake was gating it behind awful RNG but apparently that's both hardcore and also meant for casual players at the same time.

Coil weapons are supposed to be the strongest weapons in the game.

1. You are mistaken.
2. Both atma and animus were at ilv100 because they need some intermediate weapons for you to equip that you can see progress from the books instead of zenith seeing no increase in power.
3. Animus is not the final stage for this batch of relic. Novus is. Coil weapons don't get an upgrade till next Coil which is in 6 months. Animus is getting an upgrade next month.
4. Coil weapon will always be the best weapon in game because of its difficulty to get.

Seeing as how the T5 weapons were always stronger than any weapon in the game (pre 2.2), you are mistaken for like.. the 7th time. With patch 2.2 Your relic/zenith weapon is a pretty good weapon by means of casual play. Tidal, High Allagan and maybe even Weathered are for you more hardcore players. So basically: if you whine about not being able to clear ex primals and cant manage coil, you result only to Atma.

Personally ilvlxxx isn't want makes a weapon strong, the stats do :P. Also in the end of 2.X I believe they said these weapons will be the strongest of the 2.X
