Solution for me....
Delete game from PS4 and download again via PSN store === no longer require disc.
All macro still be the same before delete. *** note that** i have PLUS activate at the time and see some backup file from FFXIV.

Hi, I'm hoping someone can cleat some things up for me. I have a physical copy of FFXIV on PS3. When I set up the game after entering the product code in the PSN store, I was left with a button to download the game directly to the PS3. So if I understand this correctly, I have a physical copy and a digital copy? If so what is the point of the game disc if I'm prompted with a digital download?
Disc is only there for the box on the shelf to actually have something inside XD
Its a digital copy on disc.
Digital copy is the game.

Yes, this is the work around.
Once you have installed the game from disc and registered the license to your SE account, you will have access to download the client again from PSN directly as many times as you want.
So the bypass is to delete the game from disc install and make a fresh DL and install from PSN.

There is no point to the disc really. The game is so vastly different than the copy that is on the disc anyway since you are really just downloading the new game anyway.Hi, I'm hoping someone can cleat some things up for me.
