Not quite. The FC I'm in was started by me and a group of IRL friends (Who convinced me to play MMO's again) and some of their friends. When we first started in the beginning there were roughly 30 of us and about 8 more who couldn't get into midgard at the time so they went to Faerie. Two weeks before patch 2.1, I believe, that number dropped to about 5 active players daily lol. Those of us left thought about disbanding and joining another FC, transferring to faerie, or taking a break but we just stuck with it and tried to do content together as much as we can. It was like that till about mid February. Then we started meeting cool people in game and a couple of the friends we made had dying FCs so we absorbed maybe 3 small FCs it wasn't much, about 12 players total from all three. About a month later, our friends from Faerie decided to transfer and they brought some friends with them.

I'd still say we're a small tight knit FC, around 20 players on most of the time and we try to help each other out with everything. Low levels, crafting, gearing up, HM/EX primals, BC, and anything else. But we also have our days when FC chat is just silent for a few hours. We don't really care about personal skill level, all we ask for is a good attitude and don't be a douche to each other. We joke around a lot but we're not serious, if you ever find yourself in Midgarsormr, and if you're willing to have us, we have more than enough room for the lonely WHM.
