Exactly...we all know that one "friend", the moocher, never buys a round, when the check comes they quibble about what they had or claims "they forgot their wallet" and then goes on a rant about tipping, If you both smoke, always asks to bum a cigarette, but when you ask they're always out, asks for rides all the time, but is always to "busy" when they're asked...And then after awhile whines when they find out they weren't asked to hang out and can't/won't understand why.

Most of them loved it and i even asked some of them to help me redecorate. It was really fun and enjoyable. We also did dozens of treasure maps at my own expense cuz i just wanted to spend time with the others even when maps were 15k+ .
I was never given the chance really to run anything with their groups.
All i ran with them was turn 2 enrage lol...... -.____. Wtf
King mog ex which i had to teach everyone as i was the only one who farmed it in pf out of the group
Turn 5 but couldn\\'t really progress any further past dreads as most of them had to go and raid with the static.

i was literally the whm on hold the healer who would be last in line for any progression, technically i was the only healer in line.
No room for me so i gladly waited but in the end i was removed without being given a fair chance to show that i can carry my own weight.

I was in that run. You failed as a healer; your performance suggested that you were carried through your win(s). You didn't Esuna anything, barely single-target healed, and mostly spammed Medica 2. Which is NOT how you heal that fight.

And spending gil isn't a way to make friends, just as only crafting isn't a good way to keep them; eventually, people won't need the gil/crafts (except for food/pots for raiders) and your use dies. Similar thing for redecorating; a one or two use "feature" that has no bearing on your usefulness and desire for others to keep you around.

FF11 came out when MMOs were still new and there wasn't much of a standard to be held up to or much competition to leave for after realizing that 90% of your time is spent waiting around for a party unless you were a healer, brd, or rdm.

I envy you and that wide circle of friends. So good for you and boo for me.
I only post thru my phone so i\\'m not sure on how to double post / edit etc.
Got 500+ commendations via df tank whm. Infact because of me; when no tanks would join after the previous d/c\\'d and never returned, we were able to clear the dungeons with only 3 ppl. They were so happy as i was too.
Made my own FC and it failed so no thanks. Tried LS but still it failed too cuz there\\'s just too many lss out there already.
Tank whm in df = carry if the tank or dps is undergeared/ underpreforms.

    ...

...while I can understand people not wanting to be friends with someone that just mooches, well, back in school I counted the 'friends' that were only my friends because they copied my homework as the least valued of all (even though I did get protection from them)...

Experience may vary. I only play DD classes mostly. It's just knowing how to organize, make friends, lead, static, etc (Kind of like FFXIV COIL statics). But yeah for certain players I would hate it as well. Not everyone got to experience the things that made ffxi special that's the sucky part. Like if you couldn't find a good static, then you missed out on COP hard mode and to most, that was one of the best part of the game. It's like Dark Souls or any niche game, it's not for everyone. What FFXIV did was try to appeal to everyone I.E McDonalds say vs a specialty restaurant. JRPGS were always a niche genre.

I spent over 1mil on you guys so that would show how much i wanted u to trust me.
I thought u guys wouldn't mind sparing me 200k seperately from tee and adeline.
Because i thought u were my friends but i was wrong. I'll still give back the money as i promised tee i would.

You are going to always strain the party because you are not respecting your tank's role, not doing your role properly, and straining you co-healers. You claim your co-healers hit the ground, so did you ever think they simply can't do anything but heal by themselves and on behalf of your sub-par heals to death because you are too busy playing tank?

A person up there already explained how you were pretty much a burden as a healer in their run, no one would want to use someone like that in their runs, so you shouldn't be very surprised by people's reactions to you.

You kept on gloating about "outplaying" tanks, and shocking people. Not sure why you didn't see all of this coming.
