Raise/Ressurect too low

Really, getting a buffer was one of the most pointless and annoying thing I've ever came across. It was also one of the most frequent complaints I hear while playing XI. I have no buffer, I cant go on this job cuz I got no buffer, oh crap I deleveled and cant use any of my gear.
Weakness is enough of a punishment, dont need to kick the player in the stomach while on the ground. But I guess that would be hardcore huh.

if u got lazy you deleveled. simple as that >.>
its a game where it doesnt let u stay in endgame if u get too lazy.

We all do have a right to express our opinions, but we should also make the attempt to study the change we have an opinion about.

Resurrect/raise are changing from:
R38, 0 MP cost, 10 sec cast, 1m cooldown
to
R14, 101 MP cost, 0? sec cast, 5m cooldown

possible reasons for making it lower:
1) People ALL hated having to wait til R38 to raise/resurrect, and even then they still adds full weakness effects.
2) As stated, Duribilty loss for returning, so raising dead people you see and your party members early on can prevent that. Also, we dont know if they are making changes to repair costs or needs on top of that either. maybe repairs on something like an metal sword will take 3 nuggets instead of just 1? 5 dodoskin specs instead of 1 to repair that chestpiece?
3) As stated, raise/resurrect prior to entering the R25+ dungeons.
4) Leves will shift to being primarily for solo play, and as stated, you cant raise/resurrect yourself. Group play will shift to field monsters/beast tribes/whatever they add. Monsters may be stronger and require more strategy/jobs/better teamwork, which will involve more dying, even past r14 and on. Job unlocking might start happening as early as R10 and we may start seeing group monsters in the field starting there, which will make raise at R14 viable.
5) More possible reasons.

I know it's futile to ask, but can we please wait until they've actually done something to start criticizing it?

wtf do we need to wait for? if we know its being changed to 14.. we already know the outcome... Please SE, keep ruining final fantasy 14 for the "casuals" enjoyment. While your at it please simply give me the best weapon in the game, because as a casual player, earning it takes way to long.

The issue is: EVERYONE will need to start ranting, swearing, pissing on each other and tearing down the walls all at the same time.

Otherwise, they'll just weed out the offending posts instead of throwing on the much needed tire-boot on this bitch

as someone said earlier in this thread maybe they plan to put r15/r20 raids in later so raise at r14 would make a lot more sense if you think about it like that
