It's all boils down to the concerns of battered housewives of FFXI. In FFXI the stupidest small things were made difficult so since they dint play any other MMO everything has to be this way. All the punishments inflicted upon them in XI were done with love because SE on the inside is a good guy and wants their best. It's time to move on.

Exactly...when you only have one tank in a party and he goes down. You're gonna wish you had a CON50 with Rebirth to bring him back to life with no weakness. Raise 1 will be reserved for when DD #4 dies in the corner and it doesn't matter that he comes back with a long weakness timer/reduced HP/MP.

Lol yeah theres alot of people with that problem but oh well. It's all boils down to the concerns of battered housewives of FFXI. You can never have too much candy and sweetness in your life.

It is indeed time to move on which is why XI was and still is very successful. It's all boils down to the concerns of battered housewives of FFXI. All the punishments inflicted upon them in XI were done with love because SE on the inside is a good guy and wants their best. It's time to move on.

I keep hearing people say this is less about easiness of game and more about durability loss on equipment. Are there still people out there that can't repair their own equipment. I mean the lack of content should have forced some people to raise their crafting. Also I have not noticed a huge durability loss on my equipment when I die....Of course now that I think of it I wear equipment for my rank.
Do I really care if Raise is 14 not really my Con is 50 and so is my Thm. What my concern is the cone effect AoE is much better suited for healing than radius. I also don't think that I am going to be happy if Con is WHM. I think the job system is going to pigeon hole players, but this is just theory since we are not sure what is going to happen or if WHM will even be a "job".
I am thrilled that the fatigue system is going bye bye. Perhaps I won't dread leveling a craft job now past 40.
Ummm I played for 7 years actually. I level just abotu every job as nearly every race cuz I rerolled alot. This was back wen getting 25 took 4 weeks. Also.... dummy. :P jobs cancel cross class abilities. Seriously who cares what level a raise is in ffxi after cop was out, 99% of parties had a power level for raise and cures. To get the best exp/hr. Thata kinda makes your insults petty and stupid since you obviously enjoy using personal attacks. I just call out on how people act.
Clerics in D&D get Raise at level 9 ( it's a level 8 ritual in 4th edition ). This actually goes back to a time when level 9 was considered high level ( now it's mid-level ).
I wasn't aware that 50 was a final level cap in this game, which it would have to be to make your comparison to FFXI meaningful.

The dungeons are instanced and by the looks of it they have you teleporting all over the place to take the different paths. I believe they are doing raise at 14 to make it possible to bring in the low lvl dungeon they have mentioned. It seems like it would be the only way to keep the party together in a situation like that. Everyone wants low lvl content and then complain when other things are changed to make it happen.
P.S. anyone who considers that reaching lvl 38 is working hard really needs to reevaluate their definition of working.
