    Clerics in D&D get Raise at level 9 ( it's a level 8 ritual in 4th edition ). This actually goes back to a time when level 9 was considered high level ( now it's mid-level ).

    I wasn't aware that 50 was a final level cap in this game, which it would have to be to make your comparison to FFXI meaningful.

    Not to be a party pooper but I completely agree. Its way too low. It should be 30 (38 was too high) and raise 2 should be 50. Its just too damn accommodating to easy play.

    Anyway, I'm sure this will be flamed to hell by the SE zealots who think they're capable of no wrong.

    I would agree with this if it wasn't for the fact that the cooldown will be increased from 1 minute to 5 minutes.

    Thing is everyone and their mom will have raise now so there will be plenty of time to cycle through raise amongst party members. Resurrect will guarantee there will always be a complete cycle to be had even if the party wipes.

    a 5 Minute cooldown means everyone would have to waste the AP to have the skill equipped or they'd be waiting 5 minutes for it to cool down. That is a LONG damn time in a dungeon.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.     You'd be a fool not to have a slot open for it on a dungeon run. So again, irrelevant in all honesty. But honestly, this isn't worth a debate to me. I think its too easy and silly. Others will herald it as the greatest thing ever. To each his own - I'll be playing regardless.
