Black mage + Legacy Camera vs moving targets

So I recently switched to legacy camera, and I have to say, it really makes things easier on fights like Titan Extreme.

But I have found a major drawback now and I have no clue how to deal with this. :X

Normally when a target infront of you moves to the left or right I just hold right mousebutton and steadily turn my character the same way the mob moves while casting fire or flare or something and 99% of the time there wouldn't be a problem.

The problem with legacy camera is that your character doesn't turn anymore with the right mouse button (it basically acts the same as your left mousebutton now). This results in an interrupt of your cast every single time your target moves too much to the left or right of your character's starting cast position..

Has anyone found a way around this?

The only thing I've found is to spam "Face Target" while the target is moving.

The reason I say to "spam" is because if your character is facing the opposite way of the target, you will sometimes not turn around fast enough and still be interrupted.

Sad, but its pretty much the only option unless you want to Lock your Camera on the target(at which point you might as well be on Standard Camera again)

"Automatically face target when using action" and using Face Target with a hotkey works very well for me. Face Target is also a toggle so you only need to hit it once and your character will rotate around by itself to keep facing the target as it moves around.

that is actually good to know, i always assumed the button would just do what the automatic option does. but here comes the question why automatic face target doesnt do what it could...

I don't get why we have to face the target to cast a spell. I mean, it's a SPELL! We should be able to cast a spell, just like how healers cast healing spells in this game, without facing our targets.

This topic will change my life *_*
I thinked that the facing problem was a intended handicap, but seriusly, if you can easily over come this, why the hell they added the misfire when add move? =_=

T7 is why. The fight revolves around which direction your character is facing. If casters had that ability, it would trivialize the fight for ranged. That said healers do have this capability...But then again, healers have to do a lot more just as it is so I'm ok with this.
