Well since I get a que still sometimes I know my server full.Because marketing is the best source for this kind of data.
That is all publicity material. I am not saying that things aren't fine- I am saying we don't know the data. I remember when WoW made sub claims from marketing and was counting banned and free accounts to get artificially high numbers.
I am not saying that is what is happening here... I am just saying we don't know and it is marketing's job to make things look hot and exciting.
Now, once you have done all that, go farm level 10-49 fates for 100+ hours without all your skills that make your class over and over again to get the next step....don't you feel like you achieved something.....really!?!? You cannot compare the tasks you had to complete for Ilvl 80 and 90 to the grind fest you have to endure for Atma, there is no comparison...and if you do then you are either complete liar or really naive!! Also,to the person who stated that Atma is for casuals...are you kidding me? Who in the hell who has kids, a spouse and a full time job maybe playing 3 hours a day have the time to farm 100+ hours but a very select few..Bottom line, state whatever you wish, What I am stating is true....if you don't believe me or if your blind and can't read:http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-Upgrade-Quest
129 pages of most people saying the same as I am..but of course, in your mind I am the only one saying this since you want to troll..
"I know some of our players have been looking forward to the continuation of the Zodiac Weapons quests that I mentioned in the recent letter LIVE, but the release of these new quests has been postponed. Our reasoning for this decision is, in brief:
•Many players still have yet to obtain an Animus weapon".

I didn't say anything about them postponing so they could adjust anything for Atma/Animus. All I'm saying is that they have the data to know who has obtained Atmas/Animus weapons. And one of the reason for the delay was that •Many players still have yet to obtain an Animus weapon. So they should have already fixed the drop rate for Atmas. So they don't need to "Brainstorm" about how to fix the issue.
As for the Novus part, I'm Glad they are postponing it. Not because I'm only 5/9 books. But because I would rather them hold off and make sure it won't be a cluster flock like Atma quest is.
It's hilarious that now people are whining that relic progression isn't skill based because there were just as much topics whining about Titan HM being too hard a few months ago.
They gave them what they wanted: non skill based relic weapon progression.
Luck is a construct of your mind.
What it takes is time. Sometimes short, sometimes long.
You're assuming those complaining are the same in both circumstances. I verily enjoyed the relic quest progression. Skill based is how it should be.
It does not matter if he leaves? Maybe.. maybe not: "But what is an ocean but a multitude of drops."
He maybe one of many, and we all know this game needs a healthy player base to sustain its subscription model.. least it goes f2p.
PS3 limitations
I don't usually mind RNG, and I wouldn't mind if the atma drop rate was lower, IF you only had to get 1, but this is 12! Low RNG rate 1x = eh I can grind/deal with that, but low RNG rate 12x = bad design imo. artificial progression slow down. Just like coffer key hunting in FFXI, it sucked, but you could buckle down at it for 4-6hrs and everyone in the party could usually get what they needed.
Oh, look, there are 3 threads on the front page complaining about Atma. I think I'll make another one for good measure.
Why? Because my opinion is far more important than everyone's, so I deserve my own thread instead of just posting in an existing one.
