To be fair they have the Data, It was even said in the last live letter. Why do you think they held back on the next part until 2.28. It shouldn't take rocket scientist to "Brainstorm" to fix this. All they need to do is adjust the drop.

They are reworking the Novus part.
No confirmation that they change the Animus part befor 2.28 come out.

"I know some of our players have been looking forward to the continuation of the Zodiac Weapons quests that I mentioned in the recent letter LIVE, but the release of these new quests has been postponed. Our reasoning for this decision is, in brief:
•Many players still have yet to obtain an Animus weapon".

I didn't say anything about them postponing so they could adjust anything for Atma/Animus. All I'm saying is that they have the data to know who has obtained Atmas/Animus weapons. And one of the reason for the delay was that •Many players still have yet to obtain an Animus weapon. So they should have already fixed the drop rate for Atmas. So they don't need to "Brainstorm" about how to fix the issue.
As for the Novus part, I'm Glad they are postponing it. Not because I'm only 5/9 books. But because I would rather them hold off and make sure it won't be a cluster flock like Atma quest is.

If only solutions were that simple. I doubt it is as simple as changing one number in code.I didn't say anything about them postponing so they could adjust anything for Atma/Animus. What if they don't even want to change the drop rate? Add other options to the quest or go with a different approach entirely? Unless you are part of the Dev team or they actually share the information you are simply assuming.

Why would it need to be complicated? What is the issue with the Atma Quest? The low drop rate right? Ok so that's the problem fix it. They don't need to add new ways to obtain Atma. The only thing wrong is the drop rate, other than that the quest is fine. I'm sure it isn't to difficult to change the drop rate, Didn't they up the drop rate in 2.1 for some items? Yes it will take a bit more work for Atma, But nothing that can't be done in a few days.If only solutions were that simple. I doubt it is as simple as changing one number in code.

Also I'm pretty sure that SE can keep track of how many players have a Atma weapon. I really can't see them doing anything to this quest other than increasing the drop rate. The Atma quest shouldn't take more than about 600 fates ( to some that might be to much). At the same time people should have to do some kind of grind. But it shouldn't take 40hrs+ to get done. The Atma Weapon is just a cosmetic change and opens the next part of the real grind. As for Animus I believe it is fine, But when you have to do 40hrs+ grind for a cosmetic change it kinda takes the fun out of it.
Yup got my 3k Achievement, So many GC seals that I won't be needing to buy Ventures for months hell maybe even a year.
