clearly you've never dealt with corporate structures or online communities. Being specific only helps when you have a definitive solution. the coding that would go in that some folks have suggested, whether it is increase the drop rate for every FATE you didn't get the drop until you get one or a set number of FATEs, takes more work and testing. We will find out in a couple of weeks what they plan to do. Have patience. Otherwise all I am hearing is that damn Veruca Salt song from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Dear OP. Clearly you do not pay any attention to the actual complaints and then the actual patch contents since the game came out. You have extreme tunnel vision that only focuses on the Animus quest. You're tunnel vision appears to be forcing you to say incredibly untrue things such as " the absolute disregard SE has to not listening to its player base" which is demonstrably not true on over two dozen provable points. Since you seem to be leaving due to imagined slights I say to you good luck in your next game. Don't let imaginary door hit you on the way out.

After being a loyal Subscriber for over 9 months to FF14 ARR, I am sad to say that to me its time to suspend my account over the absolute disregard SE has to not listening to its player base.

Stop there considering that in every patch, there is always something changed regarding feedback ( reason why each patch goes from EasyHard/ Hard/Easy).

I understand that people in the official forums like to laugh and ridicule at people announces their leaving and I know it's hard to insult people who quit and never even post about it in the forums (obviously more in numbers than the former). Still, you guys are acting like the guys over at TOR, TESO, and probably a bunch of other MMOs that released and went downhill fast.

Laugh at every single unsubbers all you want. I still believe it's not a good thing for the servers' health and SE themselves. Only SE will know what ARR's retention rate is but I personally believe 200K new registered accounts on PS4 isn't a good sign. Whatever safety zone numbers SE intends to have, that's probably less than they wished. They need to stop introducing and setting up content that just turns off people from the moment they find out what it entails. MMO populations tend to shrink but let's at least try slowing it down, SE and community.

I'm sorry it took you that long and a few other people to get Atma, (Animus is based on how much you're willing to grind myths up and do books/farm fates and monsters, while Atma is based on RNG/luck) I'm sorry that this particular part of the content wasn't suffice for your liking however there are other weapons that require 'skill' to get.

Atma and Animus were announced before they were even put in as something that will take time to get for most while for some yes... the "lucky" some who kept going or just got their Atma really fast then kept grinding for Animus got theirs a lot sooner than others.


I understand how annoying it is to know other people can get it by luck. (My bf was farming my Atma of Crab with me, my last atma and he got 5 while I had 0 in about 4 hours and I didn't get mines till about 8-10 hrs later) Soooo I get that but if you come to look, Levi's weapon is a lot better for blm as well as almost the same (for most classes it's almost the same) and all extremes require a sense of knowledge of the fight and skill to actually do. (especially Titan ex) ._.

I'll just post this as a comparison and mind you..... I'm not saying this makes up for how much rng is involved in Atma or covers up for the devs or SE but there are other weapons people can resort to till it is fixed.

I think you are projecting and making assumptions based off of none existent facts, and because of those assumptions you are taking offense when there isn't any offence to begin with. If you read the latest letter from the producer you'll see that they are taking feedback from users and thus moved the next phase of the quest to 2.28 for May.
