Whats with people. Its SE's game. Its their creative vision. People these days feel so entitled to get everything they ask for. I miss the days when you picked up a game. It was what it was and you either liked it or moved on. Now all people do is complain and ask for changes like their opinion matters at all. News Flash, It doesn't. If you don't like the game, move on, but stop trying to make it into your vision and let SE roll with their own.

If the players opinion didn't matter then we would be still be playing 1.0 or maybe nothing at all.

Give your head a shake, I can think of no mmo where gear obtaining isn't based on RNG. If there is a game where you can kill a boss then choose what drops you want from it then please make me aware of it.

If all of FFXIV ARR was nothing but extremely time consuming RNG with low odds, then I'd have a problem. But if its only ATMA, why not let those who enjoy that have at it.

Fact - the game does NOT ride on ATMA.

So what if you don't get the atma stuff, there is plenty else to do. It is like give these people rope, and they hang themselves on it.

Just because a few people complain about it doesn't make it broken, nor need fixing.
That said, they HAVE said they are taking feedback on board and even delayed the next step of the quests so as to not FURTHER stack the pressure on casuals.
