Gilgamesh needs HM/EX versions. Desperately.

Battle on the Big Bridge is a fantastic fight, but the lack of difficulty (and loot) makes it a one-and-done situation that leaves us wanting more.

lol, indeed. i would love to see more. i didnt care for the hildibrand quests but i still found myself wanting to see more. they do have their humorous moments but gilgy hm/ex are in the future prolly. im sure there will be something.

Well given how the current fight ends, it's obvious a rematch with him is in the future.

I hope we can get Genji armour drops from him by defeating his 'second' form.

It's pretty obvious that HM and EX are coming, as his story unfolds. I imagine that the new modes will be at different locations.

He did mention that Enkidu was just a chicken he found and painted green. Who knows what happened to the real Enkidu. But I'm sure when he finds him Gilgamesh will be much stronger... and even more enbiggened! It would be nice to have a hard/extreme mode have a bit more story behind it than "xxx decided to come back stronger for some reason. Go fight it again!"

No doubt Hard Mode will be him finding something bigger that's green, and Extreme will be him actually having the real Enkidu with him. It just better be complete with him starting the fight with a talk followed by "Enough expository banter! Now, we fight like men! And ladies! And ladies who dress like men! For Gilgamesh... IT IS MORPHING TIME!" Followed by him bringing out all of his arms, and more weapons being brought out as the fight goes on, complete with "This weapon, IS NO COUNTERFEIT!"

I feel like he's already probably the "Hard Mode" version of the encounter, given that he's level 50 content and Moggle Mog/Leviathan qualified as their own Hard modes, but it could go either way.

I definitely, absolutely look forward to an increased-difficulty Gilgamesh battle; and as suggested, I'd love to see Genji gear be the rewards from it.
