SE is all the proof anyone needs that the majority hates the quest but people just act like this is normal like a company changes something players like because they just feel like it.
Did SE say it was because a majority of players hate the quest? Nope.

They postponed it because "many players do not have Animus". That has nothing to do with the majority opinion. The majority of players not having an Animus is not the same as the majority of players not liking it.
