also keep in mind at that level tanks can't keep hate for shit.
Using aoe is probably just going to annoy your tank and healer more than anything else

Considering I main PLD and do the Low Level Roulette every day, trust me, I know. Though really Lv26 is the magic level because of Rage of Halone; once you have that, there's very little in low level dungeons you can't hold aggro against; I'm just glad the first 4 dungeons are so trivially easy that it doesn't matter if people are ripping aggro off of me if they even sneeze in the wrong direction.
Shield Oath, while useful, is not... strictly necessary; you'll be humping enmity really close, but it's usually just barely enough to squeak by, if you are switching targets and spreading your enmity evenly enough. If I'm playing with people I know, I'll usually go Sword Oath instead because +20% extra damage and it's less boring cause I have to actually work for enmity instead of having it handed to me on a silver platter. I'd do it it in Low Level Roulette too, but I'm sure strangers would get angry at me for it, even if I was holding aggro. Weird that people would get angry at me over it when my policy is "Blow up anything you want as hard as you want and I'll take all responsibility for any loss of aggro," oh well.
