Worth returning?

So, after quitting for about 2 months, I was thinking of giving this game another try. But before I spend another 1500 yen, I want to ask everyone how they feel the PvP state is at now? I was incredibly bummed out (and bored of) how PvP turned out to be, and, after playing Wildstar and trying out the PvP there, I must say I was completely blown away. That being said, is it worth returning to the land of Eorzea? Or should I keep my wallet happy for now. I know this is the PvP forums, but feel free to include other aspects outside of PvP which can convince me. But yes, I am a PvPer so the main focus is still killing "Fresh Meat".

In 2.3 they talked about adding Frontlines, 8v8v8, as of right now there is new ilvl100 gear for Pvp, and 10 more ranks. As it stands the arena is as boring as ever.

If you are here for the pvp, I would wait a few more months for 2.3.
