Fair solution to Atmas

As long as Atmas are tied to FATEs/RNG this will be a complete waste of time for the vast majority of players. Until last week I would spend 2-3 hours early in the morning doing FATEs without the slightest hint of success. I have given it up as a complete waste of time. Now I just do enough FATES to cover the challenge log. If I should get a drop, fine; if not, fine. I understand that I cannot progress further into end game without it. So be it. At least I can do things with measurable progress and maintain my sanity. I am done now. Let the White Knight Fanboys have at me as I know they will.

PS Before anyone says anything I do have the quest completed for Atmas and I am using an Artemis Bow Zenith.

Thing is you do not need animus in any form to progress into endgame.

Yea... Animus weapons are like the fourth best weapon available or something... and considering that people are out there doing Levi EX and second coil without them you're really pushing it to suggest that having the weapon is necessary to progress into endgame... it's necessary to progress into the next tier of weapon come 2.28 or 2.3 but endgame overall? Hardly.

My thoughts with that statement was for 2.3 and the expansion as the upgraded weapons will be needed. Granted mt Zenith is as good as the Animus but later patches will upgrade that and the new weapons will be needed. You cannot get those without Atma first. Acquisition of this type of equipment should be based upon skill and hard work, not pure dumb luck. I believe, in that regards, my statement is accurate.

Where on Earth are you reading anything about upgraded weapons being "needed" in 2.3 or in any expansion?

The ONLY thing relic weapons will ever be NEEDED for is further relic weapon upgrades. When 2.3 and any future updates and expansions come along the upgraded weapons will be within the top tier of weapons but there will likely always be alternative weapons available.

Trying to suggest that if you don't have your fully upgraded relic for each update you will be shunned from all further content is just asinine.

I still wonder how many people on this forum lies about how many fates they have done without not getting any drop.

Wondering since some of the once i have read about in the various threads, have so low probability that you have higher luck winning the lottery. Well, unless SE set drop to 0.1% or around there.
