No, you want to have GL3 before you do anything else. It's the Biggest damage buff you get. (9% x 3)

Yes, noted my mistake and edited the post.
ALSO, i did some testing on the opener I mentioned, it wins overall by about 10 potency per second, which is ~20 dps on my gear.
I should have mentioned; its Ossums' opener.
DK > TS because if you miss a GCD, losing DK is a bigger loss than TS since it takes 2 GCD's to get Twins back up, where as it takes 4 for DK, as well as DK is 11% more damage, and Twins is 10%. 11% > 10%.
DK is not more damage than TS,
Also if you miss a gcd in your opener thats your fault .
Was looking for best opener as well and I have same issues that 1 of 10 times, last skill won't pass. Maybe I lose some time insisting on Buffs as I play with joystick and sometimes they just won't cast ;p
In this case isn't it better, like Odowla said, having DK up as TS can be your second skill in next rotation anyway? One more detail, which isn't about own DPS, DK gives an INT debuff as well which could help tank and party more than your own 10% damage buff.
Thank you all anyway for the many posts I enjoyed reading and hopefully will help me master my MNK
Just one last question: What is average DPS for a MNK on dummies (using 2 invigorate) with i114 (i110 weapon)?
Updated stat weights from reddit:
WD: 9.338
STR: 1.000
DET: 0.336
CRT: 0.214
SS: 0.206
We've had these for quite a while. Dervy is the on that updated those numbers, and posted them up here on this thread on the 11th.
