Ah yeah throwing TOD in that early can cause GL loss, to change that do TOD after the Demo or X pot.nope i dont not open with tod ill post again i use this opener for max deeps (Perfect Balance) - Demolish - Snap - snap - Bfb - Twin snakes - IR - dragon kick (Perfect Balance ends) - howling fist - touch of death - steel peak - boot shine - true strike - demolish - X Str pot - dragon kick - twin snakes - snap
now the question is if I should delay ToD till after demolish or just use Snap after Twin Sanke :xAh yeah it seems after i just tested trying it with 368 ss i could not get it to work either you need close to or around 400 ss I know cause ive done it at very low 400 in the past i do use the glanzfaust cant afford novus and nexus yet )= glad you like the opener tho been able to burst 560 recently with some lucky crits lol
Naah, I mean something like Demo > Snap > Twin > Snap > etc. [instead of Demo > Snap > Snap > Twin] so I can have a longer uptime for GL3 to maintain it after ToD etc. :c
I'm actually doing some testing on a dummy rn. Dat 3minute pb cooldown though![]()
I feel your pain on that 3 min cooldown as i practice every single day for 15- 20mins on dummy for my monk and my drg.....
but for real im not sure id want to use twin before last snap as id take that as a small dps loss due to delaying GL tbh its rare that i lose GL with that opener i even managed to keep it up last night in t7 with voice on me by just timing it perfect as looked away then straight back on the boss lol
if u want to refresh GL during PB do something like demo snap snap dragon snap
that way you get DK which takes 4-5gcd to achieve as compared to Twin Snakes 2-3gcd.
either way tho with Jess Victorix opener u shouldnt loose GL3 unless mistake is made.. regardless the opener is very tight but is achievable with basic 356 skill speed.
u can always try this for low skill speed
~~pb > snap snap demo twin dragon tod boot true snap~~
using the demo for GL3 the animation will cushion your GL3 timer longer giving more room for error with low skill speed.
good luck.

Yes, I did some testing - delaying GL was always more worse than delaying ToD. Cant count my t7 in those though since we always do like 20+ seconds pause for every phase change, so we dont get weird pushes, haha.
now to ZzPixie:
I tried the day before yesterday with 366 SS and then with 375~ and I always lost GL like in the very last msec. Then changed to HA claw (boosting 46 SS) and the problem never occured again. [Though like mentioned on this page - An ingame friend told me it could be because of my bad connection (15+ seconds loading screen to Mor Dhona and even more for S rank, yay! ... sobs.) can cause a small server delay.] But if it works with 356 SS, it really just seems that I'm too slow hitting those skills buttons. That delay in demo sounds good though will try it out the next day.
Not to derail the current discussion, but I hate people who post new threads for things which could easily go in their Job's appropriate one.
We've just switched from double Tank to solo Tank for Turn 9, which means I am again giving up my axe for my fists and feet. We dabbled a bit with it before, but I was struggling to maintain my stacks. We're currently dealing with Heavensfall, but I think one more night on that and we should have it Nael'd....
So at the start, I pop PB and do my opening rotation, but was struggling to keep my stacks when I stacked with everyone for Thermionic Beam, so we decided that I could carry on DPSing after Iron Chariot as long as I didn't have the beam, and then I would Shoulder Tackle back to her after she jumps back to the tank. This seemed to work pretty nicely.
Bursting the Golems might be a problem, and we've yet to try it with me on Monk. Our Tank couldn't make it last night so I filled in for him and we took a Dragoon friend as a replacement, and as we know, Dragoon burst > Monk burst and I'm worried I might not bring as much to the table for burst phases as a Dragoon would.
Just after some tips really on a decent burst for the Golems. Everything else after that should be relatively straight forward once we learn the rotation.
You should still be able to maintain GL and help split thermionic. Heres what I do:So at the start, I pop PB and do my opening rotation, but was struggling to keep my stacks when I stacked with everyone for Thermionic Beam, so we decided that I could carry on DPSing after Iron Chariot as long as I didn't have the beam, and then I would Shoulder Tackle back to her after she jumps back to the tank. -Shoulder tackle to Nael after she jumps
-Do one GCD move, then get out of red circle
-Immediately after red circle disappears hop in for another GCD
-Immediately run to where your group stacks (hopefully its close)
-Pause for a half second and then run to where your MT is (Nael should be there already)
