check if your auto attacks constitute ~30% of your dps. if it's way lower than that, then your auto attacks might be missing or not connecting.
also, are you strafing left and right? it helps you keep facing the boss even when moving from flank to rear.
I usually check my dps to see if I'm doing good and all, and as Chokee said, strafing helps a lot. I use legacy controls but bound my A and D keys to strafe left and strafe right. It's awesome.
Is there any way to do this on controller, i messed around with it but couldnt get it to work :/
Click in your Right analog stick and it will lock onto the enemy, turning your movements into strafing and such...
You need to get used to clicking it on and off fast to dodge aoes such as plumes though...it is worth it thought to increase dps![]()
The only way I've found is to use Standard camera settings, makes you strafe side ways but you'll have to adjust your camera and turn with the right stick constantly, which might make it annoying in high movement environments. The other way is to use target locking, but it'll make it hard to run away from aoes, unless you're good at toggling it on and off. I primarily use mouse+kb so maybe some controller wiz has figured out a better way.
Yea ive been using standard which is great, but there is always those few times when a quick back run would be nice.. as of now i just turn camera and run sideways -_-The only way I've found is to use Standard camera settings, makes you strafe side ways but you'll have to adjust your camera and turn with the right stick constantly, which might make it annoying in high movement environments. Got a quick question about rotations.
On T7 versus Melusine, what do you do when she turns around to throw the flames on the range party members.
For example, I'm on the DK > Twin > Snap rotation, next I'll be of course be doing Boot > True > Demo, but then she immediately turns and faces you because she will start throwing fire, do you continue on with the Boot > True > Demo still? Or do you guys change it up?
Also what is the ideal DPS for a Monk on certain turns in Second Coil?
Right now on ilvl94 with an Animus weapon.

I follow the rear when Melusine turns around. Or follow the flank when I need to do flank rotation. As for the ideal dps for your ilvl I'd say more or less 300 on T6-T7, T8 360-400+ and T9 if you don't die probably below 200 to 230..
I try to get to the back of Melusine if she turns for fireball but i will still continue with the bootshine combo but i will delay the True strike till she turns back to the tank hoping it will crit!Got a quick question about rotations.

If you don't care about TP starvation, where would you put Fracture in a rotation?
