hello there, I've freshly resumed leveling up my Pugilist, and i'm currently lv 18, so i've just learned Twins Snakes.
the question is.
is it useful, at this level?
should i continue using BS-TrueStrike-SP?
or should I use TwinSnakes, instead of True Strike?
what's the best choice, damagewise?

Twin Snakes is damage buff that's very important for PGL/MNK, you will want to prioritize keeping it up. That said, keep in mind the duration, you will basically have Twin Snakes/True Strike rotation, Boot > Twin > Snap > Boot > True > Snap > Boot > Twin > Snap, etc. This won't change until you get to level 30 and unlock Demolish. Then you will alternate Twin/True and Demolish/Snap as durations allow.

Gotta ask (i've looked through a few pages and couldn't seem to find why this is like it is) why is demolish listed as 130 tp cost, not 50 (which would make it 6.2/5.4 PpT), is that just a mistake from somewhere or is there an actual reason for it being listed as 130tp instead, making its PpT seem so low while its actually so much better?

So, thread opening-post has just about everything except the order to buy Gloam gear, and 'exact' stat weights. Why not add them~?

Here's a site with same T9 BiS but an order to buy and 'notable-fillers' til you get your BiS. http://www.ffxivguild.com/ffxiv-monk...me-gear-guide/ (Give them a shot, site has more than decent info on XIV.)

As for Stat weights, is it too hard to find exact stat weights? The weights I'm currently using are

That must be a 2.0 rotation, by current MNK tools there are too many flaws in that rotation.

1. No PB to start.
2. Dragon Kick to start, when starting a no form attack string you use Bootshine since there's no positional requirement for the 150 potency.
3. Demolish falls off really bad.
4. Too long a delay to get into GL3. ToD is pushing it before you have GL3, Fracture is just excessive even with B4B/IR up.
5. Twin Snakes doesn't need refreshing that frequently, it always lasts a two full rotations plus a DoT.
6. Fracture costs too much TP and is more trouble than it's worth. In many fights it's fine TP wise, but try using it constantly T6-8 and you'll go dry (T6 depending on strategy).

If you're just ramping up without PB, stick with BS > TwS > Dem > DK > TrS > Snap > BS > TwS > Dem, with ToD used either after Demolish or after the 2nd Snap Punch (buffs will still be up).

And tips for a mnk who just hit fresh 50? Decided to give it a go since I main drg to see what the other melee dps is like. I sorta got the hang of the rotation without using pb but once that is factored in I'm completely lost lol.
