aight so you want instant gl3 every 25 seconds
you'd get 50% of gl3 uptime if you never hit a skill
do we play monk for different reasons here
at that point just play ninja

and a lot of good GL3 would do you if you never hit a skill. o.O
to be clear, you'd have to be OUT of Fists of Fire for it to build, so you're trading your damage buff for future abilities. yes, maths would have to be done to ensure it wouldn't be better to just stay in Focus all the time.
use tornado kick as its intended and it feels amazing as is, you dont need to up the potency just because you want to use it off cooldown, its not supposed to work that way

I know, but it still feels far too weak for what it is, it's just a stupid complaint. I use it lots in Ravana ex and it does its job well. It would just be nice to have a powerful attack. Monk still doesn't have a single hard hitting move. Every other DPS can hit bigger than that, as čan tanks and healers. SURE we DPS more over time. But it'd just be beautiful to see a monk hit for 5k or some shit.
I've seen Tornado Kick crit for just over 3K. That alone makes my existence and validates it as burst IMO.I know, but it still feels far too weak for what it is, it's just a stupid complaint. tornado kick looks like aero 2. i wish it has more oomph and screenshake or blur or something. but yeah potency wise i think its fine.
Tornado kick just feels a bit awkward because it takes so long to actually do the damage and certain phase changes are hard to predict. If you're slightly late the damage doesn't connect, if you're even slightly early you lose the damage gained from simply getting two unbuffed hits in afterwards. It only feels good when you're actually disengaging from the enemy yourself, like running to the wall in ravana, but we don't get a lot of those situations in raid content.
yeah idk if it counts when the boss jumps before the tornado kick does the boom at the end.Tornado kick just feels a bit awkward because it takes so long to actually do the damage and certain phase changes are hard to predict. You use TK when you are running to the wall in Ravana EX? lol doesn't make too much sense to me, just maintain gl3
