What's everyone doing with Tornado Kick?

not really using it outside of padding numbers/as a disconnect happens, which is specifically what it was designed for
there is kind of a horrid animation lock from the skill, similar to jump from drgs, just doesnt feel right
can do some pretty sick damage though when you use it, but i still prefer forbidden chakra
have you actually used TK? there is litteraly no animation lock what so ever, it just takes a while for the damage to actually take effect.not really using it outside of padding numbers/as a disconnect happens, which is specifically what it was designed for

Honestly if they would just fix the Demolish animation and change form shift to just a free GL stack I would be happy. Also they should make chakra an over time buff that charges on its own. Technically it would be the same as a cooldown but so what. Its not like we can use it that often anyway. It sucks that most moves we get are not that useful in a general context Imo. I like them, but they are not that great from what I can see so far at lvl 56. Maybe things pick up with tornado kick?
I actually disagree, 4 out of the 5 skills we get are very very good and I use them immensely when I run the Lv60 dungeons.
Form Shift before a pull where I don't use PB allows me to put DK up immediately or get a GL stack immediately, which is actually pretty big dps. (Form Shift giving us that good dps increase right here). Along with this, most of the fights so far at Lv 60 have down time, for the shorter down times (2-5 seconds) Form shift allows me to keep GL3. When the down time is longer than that, Tornado Kick lets me gain some nice burst DPS to finish the phase of and spamming meditation for 5 seconds gets me some much needed burst in the next phase.
That covers Form Shift, Meditation and Forbidden Chakra.
I'm not even gonna touch on Elixer Field because honestly I think that skill is overpowered, the cool down is so short and the damage is so high. Haven't used Purification.
Along with all of this Forbidden Chakra and Elixer Field give us the much needed burst damage to compete with other DPS in burst.

So tornado kick has no place withing our opener?
Might not be worth to use on CD, but I'd at least say its worth using when ever you have PB up.
From 0 stacks you can;
Stance Change to Demo PB Snap Snap TK Snap Snap Snap DK Twin,
or something like that.
From premade 3 stacks it's even easier to shoe horn it in. Till people start doing tests at 60 though its all in the air atm.
One question I have is whether or not its worth to Stance Change to Opo Opo and get a buffed DK or not. Is it worth to stop attacking for 1 GCD to get the 10% resist on that much faster. This isn't a opening question, but more of a "In the case where it drops off, what should I do."

At work.
Demo dk twin snap PB snap TK snap snap demo (FS to dk or just non opo dk/boot) twin snap b4b (dk if not FS dk last time/boot otherwise) IR true HF snap ef boot/dk sp twin St demo FC
That's what I could come up with estimating timers with buffs and gl3 for ToDs and oGCD but no buffs for TK rhat way, don't know if that's beneficial or not.
Reasoning for using FS after TK and gl3 build up is cause dk would fall off for the next 3 GCD and you won't be in opo form for the next dk after TK + gl3 build up.
I don't know if it's worth spending one GCD to FS rather than just unbuffered 3 GCDs.

"Sent on Android device"People need to remember that a healer's job isn't to heal HP
but rather to prevent HP from reaching 0
