hey guys, im sorry for what seems to be a ridiculous question, but frankly I have googled and searched but cant find the answer(even looked here, but this thread is HUGE) I started playing recently (3 months ago) and have come o a cross road on how to proceed with my MNK(main). Do I pursue the relic weapon (and ultimately the zeta), do I Buy the poetics and Augment them or do I attempt to farm for the dreadwrym. I have the zenith weapon, however I'm currently using the Glauzfaust. Im using calculators that say both the BiS is the dreadrym and different ones saying the Zeta. I want to be ready for the expansion. What say you brothers and sisters?

Zeta is the best weapon in the game currently if using the correct stats. It has the highest stat allocation of all the weapon choices. As for it's usefulness in the future, we unfortunately do not know. They might carry on with this weapon in the expansion in some fashion or they might have a new one...or both. Dreadwyrm Claws are your second best choice. You say you started 3 months ago, but are you even raiding yet? All the Dreadwyrm gear is going to be obtained from Final Coil of Bahamut which requires you to finish Binding Coil and Second Coil of Bahamut first. From looking at your gear on the website it does not look like you raid (at least yet) in which case I'd say go for the Augmented Ironworks weapon to use while possibly upgrading your relic.

thank you so much for your reply! Ive cleared turn 5 and am working on clearing 9. Once Im done with that ill be farming 10 and 11 for most of my 130 gear (ive watched all the vidoes and read the guides for them and have my rotations down packed) I don not have a static so DF is a huge pain as most people don't know the fight. I have enough for the Ironworks but have a WHM class too that's bout the same ilevel as my MNK and was thinking of giving my WHM the ironworks and working hard AF for the ZETA. But honestly at this point I may need the Ironworks for my MNK so I can even approach/attempt t13

Would either of you (Hak, Jethred, Odo) mind posting a 0 accuracy build parse? If you guys are doing 650 in T13 gear then I'm sure 670-680 or more would be possible in a completely optimized set.

No need. I was Just wondering what the gap is between crafted BiS and non-crafted is. The benefits do not appear to be as large as I'd imagined, but I'm sure with an extremely high crit (40-45%), it would possible to attain 670 or so.
