Then maybe SE shouldn't create new datacenters, but focus on making sure the cast bar and the aoe signals are actualy synchronized? Just a thought, but whatever arguments people throw around, I still don't find it acceptable to be hit by something your screen tells you you dodged.
BTW, while what you say about distance to the servers might be true in many cases, it's not necessary the case. I have 40-60 ms all the way to Montreal from Europe, latency only spikes over 100 ms after hitting the last node.
And if 100-200 ms isn't enough to be hit by stuff while out of it, I'd like to know what is the cause. Because with no packet loss and even when latency is under 200 ms, I've seen stuff happen like in my sig.
