So EU Datacentre's ? (REAL ONES)

With our atlantic connection, we have better connections to the NA servers from the EU than most of the North American population does. We're always at around 100m/s, that's about the norm for everyone no matter where you're from. That's good to me, really. There's no need to additional servers in the EU for anything. It's just going to break up friends, and i like playing with americans (sometimes).

And why should they leave...? If the Wohle Datacenter would be transfered to Europe your Friends would also be transfered to the DC...

No One would quit just because of this. Besides that... There is a very good Chance that the "New Connection" to Europe would be better than the current One for you and your frinds.

Personally I'm not having issues of connection. Basically they are probably organizing it well to reduce the effect of the latency so we don't feel it. but latency there surely is because of the big network cables that are extended from USA to London and then from London to rest of europe...

It is just logic... If they call it Europe datacenter, put it in europe... If not rename it, seriously...

It's actually the NA/EU data center implying it services both regions, which would imply locating it in eastern NA was probably the best decision from a ping for everyone standpoint. Who knows when new EU servers are added we might see an EU data center be created.

I'm in England on us server and I rarely lagged before (on ps3)
Now I'm on ps4 I never lag
Maybe it's a problem at your end rather than servers?

I'm 100ms and sometimes spike to 130/150ms. I actually get a better connection to Canada than I do to some US games from the UK. My ISP is Virgin Media (cable). I started doing the hard modes this week and I've noticed something. The servers are much better now with positioning. I like to move out of 'fire' and stop just at the end of it but still out of it. It's neater and helps when you get bosses that spit puddles out this allows less space to be taken up. Anyways, I noticed when I am out of it a bit I still get hit but if I just continue on I don't - even if it looks like I will get hit. Perhaps it's down to server polling and deceleration. I don't know. I did remember that there were posts that jumping and such the server only registers your new position when you land so if you're still jumping it'll still be the original location.#

I'm at 290-300ms i live in australia but i live with the fact that ill never do titan ex or ifrit ex with out a buy or carry garuda ex is quite an easy fight not much to dodge really i focus on other things but with end game stuff its never going to happen i made my choice to to go the us server but even on the jp server I'm pushing 150-190ms so i live with it but needless to say its quite annoying would be nice if they did focus more on the region instead of just the jp server and us server (be nice if they did dedicate a specific oceanic english speaking server where aussies etc could go theres enough of us) guess they have to have laggy latency affected players who pay there sub living in hope!note before you say it I'm NOT paying for extra stuff just to lower my latency i already pay a sub fee and it seems kinda shitty that SE won't acknowledge or comment on this bullshit but there sweep it under the rug and hope the players that suffer just go away seems to be working for them for now!!

I'd be at around 500ms without a VPN with one im at 250-300ms.
