The point is there are plenty of games with RNG. In case this is your first RPG, or MMORPG, there have been and are lots worse things then this. I'm surprised there aren't a million posts of people crying about the drop rate on colored mounts as well. I still havent even seen one, maybe I'll go make a post about that.

idc what other games does, just coz this game does something does mean it should be a sheep n follow
the others. also, they did it in a way a lot of ppl dont even like. which is fates. so pressing
1 2 1 2 fr hours on end isnt fun o-o;
its not fair either. some ppl got it in 2-3 days others are still going since the day of the patch.

Maybe because you don't need to accumulate twelve pieces of crap based on randomization in order to get a colored mount. Let's not forget the fact that during the fights that the mount's drop other valuable pieces of loot drop as well, which are some sort of incentive to farming, as opposed to getting minimal gil, GC Seals, and no experience from fates.

There is 5 other worthless items because there is I100-I110 out. So you get nothing except a few myth and a chance at the horses that I have seen 0 of for like 4 months. This is such BS.

The mount is vanity not a damned wep that will have an impact later on. RNG is fine when it's handled good, this isn't.

seriously, do not compare FF14 to FF11, and the gaming community change.. u want to waste your years in FF11 style go back to FF11..
