    Not liking the Leve limit.

There is not enough entertaining things to do in ffxiv-arr outside of leveling crafts and saving money for a home so I can cross breed plants. And I keep running into this "leve limit" which limits how much I play this game daily. I have to play ffxiv because I don't have the money for a super computer so here I am on my old overheating ps3. But I'm not really into a game that sets limits. Limiting how many posts I can make on the forums is also a turn off. I'm finding myself posting less and playing less. Thinking about dropping and going back to designing clothes for sims2/2nd life which I suppose is just as well. More productive an outlet. I wanted to hang on until chocobo breeding came along but I'm sooo bored. Limits just arnt my thing.

Well the leves aren't really limited (unless you count the max of 100). To do guildleves you have to spend a currency (just like spending gil or GC seals), but you get these for free over time. But otherwise, there are much more things to do than guild leves anyway so you can try out stuff like new dungeons, PvP, or gathering. While leves are a good way to level up, completing challenges in your challenge log for crafting or completing supply missions for your GC are also rewarding.

Don't forget you get quite a good portion of GIL at least for the high level leves. Or GC seals for GC leves. If they were unlimited, you could become rich in no time which wouldn't be that well balanced.

Before you complain about limits, don't limit yourself and try the other contents. Duty roulette as a tank or healer is a good way to get gil. Also treasure hunting and the weekly challenge log.

Funny enough, the only problem I have with the low leve allowance is that it now takes 2 years (750 days) to get all of the achievements that require 500-1000 leves. And that's only if you don't waste any by letting your allowance sit at the 100 cap for 12 hours or more.

As an achievement-driven player this is incredibly disheartening. This has indirectly gated some other GC-related achievements for me as well.

I wonder why we need a mechanic that granted is VERY common in free to play games?
Isn't this why we pay a sub not to deal with wait-to-play-mechanics?

Melithea's point about the leve achievement is also kinda scary to think about.

huh? 100 leves back2back2back2back is too limiting? you might as well quit now lol cuz when you move onto other content you are gonna see a whole lot more limits with stricter lockouts than that lol and @Seif, if they let you do everything instantly you will complete everything instantly an unsub, hence the lockouts, almsot every mmo follows this method

I remember when I started 14, heard about 100 leves and thought "oh cool, 100 little kickstarts to get you started"....then I found out they replenish?!? Such drastic overkill of a game it's already too easy to max out levelling in.

This made me chuckle a bit. No one is forcing you to be in the game. If you don't like the restrictions, it may be time to evaluate what you expect out of this game and decide if it's worth it to continue. This is not a single-player game, and the goal is to keep people subbed as long as possible. If leves were unlimited, we could all have our crafts at max level in a day. And as a few people mentioned above, there are more restrictions that you'll hit when you start working on endgame gear. It's just the nature of the beast. MMOs aren't for everyone, and as in all games, there are pros and cons.

Guess people will complain about anything. OMFG SE why a level 50 limit, just let me play!

If leves were the only content worth doing, I would unsub too.
