Regarding Materia transmutation, because SE's translators just love removing details.

After completing the below quest, hand Mutamix 5 unwanted materias to transmuate into a random materia.

At least I have another option for those tier IV element resist materias now....

Conversely, your useless Earth I could turn into a Savage Aim IV. It could be completely random or you might get better luck by transmuting higher level materia, but either way, the elemental materia will finally be useful for .. something.

nope you can its not a very well thought out idea more lottery bullshit and frankly quite disappointing and kinda defeats the purpose of getting rid of 5 elemental to get 1 elemental .. yay!!!

lol all these people complaining and getting mad about the prices of grade 1 materia as though they've suddenly been slapped with some ludicrous price tag they'll never be able to afford. You guys make it sound like SE kicked your dog or something. Get real.

That said though, I don't like how gimmicky this new transmuting deal is either. I suppose it's nice if you spend a lot of time spiritbonding things and you wind up with junk when you convert the gear, but relying solely on RNG for anything worthwhile is no good. It's too gamey to make it anything to be excited about.

They *could* have just removed the elemental materia from the game since it's stupid and nobody uses it. Instead they put in this stupid system.
