Will probably see Crystal Towers end at 2.9 then EXP pack at 3.0.

Software version numbers might look like decimals but they aren't decimals. We don't have to reach 2.9 before 3.0 is released, and we aren't 20% through the current expansion (2.2). It's more likely the final patch of "2.0" before the expansion will be 2.5.

After completing Turn 5, Alphinaud (or was it Alisae? I dunno) mentions that there are "two other" places just like the one we finished exploring, most likely referring to the Second Coil just released with 2.2 and the Third Coil to be released in 2.4.

They also have made it sound like an expansion is not too far off and seeing how FFXI worked on almost yearly expansion cycles it'd make sense that we'd see the same thing here. So I think what'll happen is we'll get the final turn of Coil in patch 2.2 in June/July, then we'll get the final Crystal Tower dungeon in 2.5 in September/October, and then we'll get an expansion around December/January, since that'll be about 1 year and 3 months after the game launched.
