I finally MT'd Garuda Hard.

I let everyone know in advance that I'm not experienced in this but everyone was nothing but supportive. One guy even literally wrote that "I won't whine if we wipe"!

This made me feel less nervous and by no means did I do a great job (how come I have such trouble keeping hate?!) but we pulled through in one piece. =)

This was literally XIV at it's best. Great players and people who were even dps-ing it the first time got instructions from the more experienced players and it was a close call but teamwork really trumps ego in instances like this one.

Whenever I'm thinking of jumping into a new MMO I always check the forums and I really think there should be some credit given to the community when it's them that make this a better game than it is sometimes.

Same thing in most dungeon parties. The quitters and whiners are not the majority of people there no matter what the forums might make it look like sometimes.
