I. Who we are:

Curia Regis (a Latin term meaning "King's Court" or "Royal Council") is a group that is comprised of people from all different backgrounds and various online games. A large portion of the founding members met in Final Fantasy XI Online. However, some of our guild is compromised of those who met, raided, and played together in TERA Online. We have merged into one group for the launch of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

II. What we do:

A. General Purpose:

We are a Free Company that is aimed at end game progression while still creating a generally fun and enjoyable environment to be in. Our goal is to push content in our various groups while still holding ourselves to a high standard of both play and game knowledge.

On our home server of Midgardsormr, we are known for being skilled players who interact well with the community.

B. Current Progress:

Our first Twintania clear was on 11/13/13, making us second on the server to clear. We will enter patch 2.2 as the Free Company with the most Twintania kills under our belt on the server prior to the changes to the Binding Coil of Bahamut. As an FC we achieved server first Turn 6, server second Turn 7, and finally server first Turn 8. Currently we have two different groups working on Turn 9.

III. What we are seeking:

Right now we are seeking an exceptional Summoner or Warrior to join one of our progression groups. We are not a hardcore group by any means - but we enjoy being good at what we do. We want members who are looking to push themselves and are hungry to perform.

Our requirements for this position are as follows:

• Applicant must be extremely knowledgeable about the class and be able to push their DPS to its limit while still achieving great execution of game mechanics. Tanks must know the science of proper cool down management, be able to pull spike threat when needed, and communicate with the group when needed. You MUST put out good numbers or be able to tank well. We are not going to carry someone under any circumstances.
• Applicant must also be able to function well in a high pressure environment while tackling new content, and be able to take constructive criticism to better the raid when the situation calls for it. Keeping calm during encounters and not flooding Team Speak 3 with unnecessary chatter when communication is key is something we highly prize.
• Applicant must be responsible in determining raid times and staying in contact with their assigned raid leader. It is YOUR responsibility to double check raid times.
• You must be able to raid at least 3 times a week while the push for new content is ongoing. Our default starting time is generally 5:30 PM PST. Our schedule, however, may vary, and we can accommodate worthy applicants. Raid times are generally decided on a week by week basis as determined by the group's needs. However, during new content we can go 4-5 times a week if the group is hungry to do so.

If you feel like you might fit the bill for either of these spots we encourage you to play by filling out an application under the "Join Us" tab.

If you wish to contact me in game, feel free to message Sean Kipling (main) or Elizabeth Bathory (alt) in game on Midgardsormr. Also feel free to drop me a message on the website. We look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for your time.
