Was anyone else planning on starting a new character with the release of Male Mi'qote?

This made me so damn sad (even though it's AWESOME news) - because god forbid they look cool like Rei from BoF III - I will be restarting = (

Not a troll thread? WTH? Lol anyway ... I don't plan on restarting as a male miqo'te. I may make one on the side as a fun character to run around with, but I'm content with the character I have now. If we're allowed to reroll our characters upon the release though then I may considering doing it though ...

It would be nice since all the race right now has no specific traits for being that race, when they release new race to be able to have 1 time change for all existing players since they are planning those 2 races on PS3 release, at least that way you don't have to restart your char to use the new race lol.

Where can I read up further details about Male Mi'Quote? I never heard about this and I follow a lot of FFXIV news feeds!

Honestly when they add the new race/gender combos down the line they owe it to the people who supported the game from the beginning and through the restructuring to allow them a 1 time change. Forcing everyone who's been playing this game for months already to completely start over would be ridiculous.

By then the game will be so different, not to mention it will be in with the PS3 launch, it might be a good time to start over (or start another character).

Would definitely love to know for sure if they'll allow the playerbase to "re-roll" their already leveled characters. Any specific way you get a com rep to see this stuff? No way they could see everything right lol?

To summon the rep SE style you have to lay an magic egg in middle of the room and start dancing in circles and chant.
