How to remove mouse pointer out from the screen using PS4 controller?

Hi, I know that PS4 controller has mousepad function on the center of it. However, these mousepad function sometimes could be very annoying. For example, when I want to select choice for any pop up menu. the cursor will confuse between the current location of the pad point or the current location of the selection tab. and keep changing between them, making me unable to select my choice on current tab.

Is there anybody who could tell me as in how to fix this issue?

I'm not sure that you can so-to-speak "fix" or better yet, disable the cursor to not show up. I'm assuming you are in Game Controller mode rather than Mouse/Keyboard mode from the configuration setting. When I play in game controller mode, the cursor will always appear when the mouse pad of the game controller is touched. I just simply touch the pad and move the cursor down and out of my way/view. After you click on any other button, the cursor disappears until your interaction with the mouse pad of the controller is done. It took me a while to get used to it, but now is no longer a bother. Just use the center pad of controller as your "PS3-version of Select" when you click on it, ensuring your cursor is out of the way (like the bottom of the screen), you may be less annoyed.

Not much of a here's-how-to-fix-it answer, but a band-aid solution.

Weird, but it seem that in my case, the pointer always there, never disappear. No matter I drag it down off the screen or not. Whenever loot menu pop, or teleport menu pop. I can not select that menu, because it confuse between pointer (down of the screen), and the selection tab. (it change front and back very quickly between pop up menu and the pointer on screen, if you understand what I meant)

I know exactly what you mean. I miss the ps3 select button due to the sensitivity of the touchpad. When i just want to toggle between something it seems to do everything but that because the UI is trying to 'click' where the mouse is. Please incorporate a 'disable touchpad' option in controller configuration at the least >.<

you turn the touch pad as a mouse feature off. then just clicking it in is same as select button. the pointer will also go away when not selecting items while that feature is off. i believe it can be found in controller settings if i remember correctly but after beta phase 2 i immediately turned it off because essentially its not a good feature especially for any combat lol theres actually some pretty useful info about ps4 controls in the manual on the log in screen, not being sarcastic it helped a bit.
