Well, jokes aside, elemental materia should get a use in the future.

I like the idea of changing overmelding to a system which enables you to influence the outcome and reduce the pure RNG factor.
And I also agree that the stat caps should be visible when you select an item in the melding window.

And why do people always come up with the argument that crafters will always be needed to craft gear for materia conversion and to meld materia?
Why become a master crafter if all you do is meld materia and craft 0-star gear?

Which is lvl1 and where NQ/HQ makes no difference.

I'd like to be able to make my own endgame gear. Bind on pickup, I don't care.
But I feel a bit silly having almost max overmelds and being able to HQ 3-star gear, just to get asked to make a Hempen Camise...
